Defining parameters for Tosca Structure.smooth

As described in the previous section, there are different screens (one in Tosca ANSA® environment and two in Tosca Structure.gui) where essentially the same parameters can be defined.

This task shows you how to:

Define parameters in Tosca ANSA® environment

  • In Task Manager select SIMULIA Tosca StructureTask > SMOOTH > SMOOTH_INSTANCE > RUN_SMOOTH > Edit

The SMOOTH RUN PARAMETERS dialog appears:

Define parameters in Tosca Structure.gui

In Tosca Structure.gui there are two different screens to define the parameters.

  1. First screen: In Module menu, select Tosca Structure.pre.

  2. Choose Command > SMOOTH.

  3. Edit the parameters as shown in the following figure:

  4. OR Second screen: In Module menu, select Tosca Structure.smooth.

  5. Edit the parameters as shown in the following figure:

The following table summarizes the Tosca Structure.smooth parameters and the corresponding fields in Tosca ANSA® environment and Tosca Structure.gui:
