Editing individual data points in an X–Y data object

You can edit individual records in any X–Y data object in your session, including temporary data objects. Abaqus/CAE presents the data in tabular format in the Edit XY Data dialog box.

  1. Locate the Edit XY Data options:

    From the main menu bar, select ToolsXY DataEditXY Data Object, where XY Data Object is a saved X–Y data object in your session. The Edit XY Data dialog box appears with the X–Y data presented in tabular format.

  2. To edit any of the data points, click in the appropriate cell and change the value.

  3. To assign quantity types to the values in the X- or Y-columns, expand the Quantity Types list for the X or Y column and select quantity types from the lists that appear.

  4. To save the data you have configured, click Save.
